Exhibition commentary for children

This summer, the museum held a first-time exhibition explanation session for children. A total of 163 people participated in six sessions during August.
At each session, the children listened to the curator's explanations while touring the permanent exhibition, followed by a Q&A session. It was a great reward to see the children looking at the materials with wide eyes, sometimes with their mouths agape. We hope that the experience will be useful for their summer vacation homework, and that it will also serve as an opportunity for them to think about Issues related to leprosy.
It was great to see that many participants were hesitant at first, but gradually became absorbed in the exhibits. I think another positive outcome was the large number of questions we received from the parents who attended with the children.
We aim to improve our business based on the feedback we receive.
