*Event has ended

Akira Ota (born in 1943) lives National Sanatorium Kikuchi Keifuen and is currently the vice president Resident Association there.
This exhibition will feature around 20 recent works by Ota, who has long served as the head of the Kikuchi Keifuen camera club and has led the cultural activities at Inside the sanatorium. In addition to scenes from the sanatorium, his photographs capture the area, which is still recovering from the damage caused by the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake, as well as colorful traditional festivals.
On Saturday, June 8th, during the exhibition period, there will be a lecture by Akira Ota entitled "The Real Faces of Kinyo-kai Artists", in conjunction with The National Hansen's Disease Museum 's current spring special exhibition, "Gathering on the Canvas - National Sanatorium Kikuchi Keifuen - Kinyokai Painting Exhibition."
We look forward to your visit.
