*Applications will close once capacity is reached. Parental supervision is not required.
Due to space limitations, we ask that accompanying persons be limited to two people per group (one participating child and one parent/guardian).

*For printing purposes, please bring a digital camera that can remove storage media such as an SD card (cell phones and smartphones cannot be used).
Please bring a blank storage medium with no data on it.
Please do not take any photographs of residents or their homes without permission within Tama Zenshoen.

*Photo books and writing implements will be provided by The National Hansen's Disease Museum.

*Please bring your own lunch and drinks. You can eat in the training room. There is also a restaurant nearby.

*Please take precautions against insect repellent, sunburn, and heat stroke.

*We may take photographs of the event and post them on The National Hansen's Disease Museum website, Museum news
If you do not wish to be photographed or published, please let us know in advance.

*If the event is postponed or canceled due to bad weather, we will contact you by 8:30 a.m. on the day of the event.

State at the time of holding

On Saturday, July 27, 2019, we held Summer vacation independent research support project: "Let's make a photo book of Tama Zenshoen."
This project involved participants walking around Inside the sanatorium with a booklet of black-and-white photographs of the old Tama Zenshoen Garden, searching for the same places to take photos of them today, and completing the photo book with explanatory text and pictures. By walking around the garden and researching at the museum, participants were able to create one-of-a-kind works of art that capture the past and present of Zenshoen Garden.
