Event holding information by facility rental

Event name "Ms. Cornwall Legh and St. Barnabas Mission Exhibition"

Ms. MH Conwall Lee, who came to Japan as a missionary in 1907, was traumatized by the tragedy in the Yunosawa district of Kusatsu, and in 1916 she made her private fortune to support the recovery of the sick and their lives. By investing and using donations from inside and outside the country, he established and contributed to the operation of homes, churches, St. Barnabas Clinic, and kindergartens and elementary schools as shelters for the sick. In addition to leading more than 1,000 Hansen's Disease people to baptism, we have developed a relief business that values the personality and human rights of each individual. They are called "St. Barnabas Mission". This time, a panel showing its function will be exhibited on the move from the Kusatsu "Lee Kasama Memorial Hall".
