Hojo Tamio was a writer who was discovered by Kawabata Yasunari and continued to write novels energetically, but passed away at the young age of 23. In order to commemorate his literary achievements, his hometown of Anan City, Tokushima Prefecture, has designated December 5th, the anniversary of his death, as "Tamio Memorial Day." In this exhibition, you can look at the first edition of his masterpiece, "The First Night of Life," as well as works by people who had contact with Hojo.
